Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is an Emmy-winning ABC reality series that began airing on November 3, 2003, as special and as a television series regularly since February 15, 2004, in which the home of a family including all rooms, exterior and landscaping, is done by a team of builders and designers in seven days, while the family goes on vacation. It is a spin-off of Extreme Makeover. The series is produced by Endemol USA (The people behind Big Brother, Fear Factor, Deal or No Deal, and other reality programs) in association with Disney / Buena Vista Productions Greengrass.
