The Simpsons "season 23 is the current season of The Simpsons. The first September 25, 2011. This will include the 500 episode expected to air Feb. 19, 2012. Due to financial difficulties, the network been unable to produce the show in his current contract, and if there were no pay cuts that could have been last season. But October 7, 2011, Fox announced that the show was renewed for two more seasons, after throwing agreed to pay cuts.
